Future Home Part 6

A lot has happened since my last post.  It actually looks like a house now!

These are from July 13.

We stopped by a week later and we had a roof!  I couldn't get over how fast it seemed to be moving.

On Thursday after work we stopped by again.  We were greeted by a complete roof with a wrap on it and people installing windows and doors!

It actually looks like a house now!

We have a front door! ...I guess this means I'm officially an adult now that I've gotten excited over a door...

Garage! 

I'm so excited to see how much they've gotten done.  Each step of the way it feels more and more real to us.  In about a week we should be ready for the dry wall walk-through, and then we'll have a better idea of when they'll be complete.  Right now it looks as if they'll complete construction at the end of August and then 3 weeks later we'll close.  We have our apartment until the end of October, so we'll take our time moving completely over to the house and take advantage of the time to buy the extra furniture we need.
